He asked Ash out while they were working on restoring a barrier on a dangerous curve of the road.[1] Ash accepted, but insisted it wasn't a date. Arthur seemed fine with that, but later put the moves on Ash anyway.[2] When she rejecte his advances, he didn't take it well and walked out of the movie.
